Why a Daily Blog?

I’m tired of Facebook. Thumbs up/down, fake news, tribalism; I’ve had enough. I’d much rather simply post what is of interest to me from time to time. With no constant reminders nor any need for feedback, I am free to cast my thoughts into the teeming flow of consciousness the ‘internets” has become.

I’ve added a few photos we’ve taken on our trips or while at home. We enjoy the challenge of photography and its rewards. Most of all we love being reminded of “when”.

This site is built on WordPress, which is an amazing blog/website design platform.

I’m not going to deviate from a vanilla design. I typically enjoy life as an art form. I hope some of our overwhelming joy at travel and new experiences carries into this blog.

I have a hard time understanding the drive for conformity that makes fast food restaurants so popular or how socially so many of us are xenophobes. I celebrate the differences and revel in new experiences. As we grow more experienced, there is little that is truly new.
